- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Season the ground beef with salt and pepper in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add olive oil to the skillet and heat until shimmering, then add the ground beef, searing it for about 4-5 minutes until browned.
- Flip the beef and add the minced garlic, chopped rosemary, thyme, and butter. Cook for another 4-5 minutes until it’s medium-rare.
- Layer the sliced potatoes in a baking dish, then top with the cooked beef mixture, and sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
