  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme chopped
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 5 medium potatoes sliced
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)

Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Season the ground beef with salt and pepper in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add olive oil to the skillet and heat until shimmering, then add the ground beef, searing it for about 4-5 minutes until browned.
  4. Flip the beef and add the minced garlic, chopped rosemary, thyme, and butter. Cook for another 4-5 minutes until it’s medium-rare.
  5. Layer the sliced potatoes in a baking dish, then top with the cooked beef mixture, and sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!
