  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 lb. skinless boneless chicken breasts or thighs (cubed)
  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 tbsps. butter
  • 6 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsps. chopped parsley

Equipment

  • large skillet

Method

Instructions
  1. Cook the pasta according to the package directions. While it cooks, start on the rest of the recipe.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once the oil is hot, after about 2–3 minutes, add the chicken.
  3. Sprinkle the chicken with the dried seasonings.
  4. Cook the chicken for about 7 minutes more, or until the juices run clear.
  5. Add the butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for 1 minute.
  6. Pour in the broth, scraping the bottom of the pan to loosen any browned bits. Bring to a simmer.
  7. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat.
  8. Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese.
  9. Toss until the chicken and pasta are coated and the sauce has thickened.
  10. Sprinkle parsley on top before serving.
