- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a jelly roll pan.
- In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, and cocoa powder.
- Separate the eggs and add the egg yolks and vanilla to the dry ingredients, mix well.
- In another bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form, then fold into the batter.
- Spread the batter in the prepared pan and bake for 15 minutes.
- Once baked, turn the cake onto a clean kitchen towel dusted with powdered sugar.
- Roll the cake in the towel and let it cool completely.
- Whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form and fold in the whipped topping.
- Unroll the cooled cake, spread with whipped cream mixture, top with berries, and roll again.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour before serving.
